Want a NX automation free of charge

We are looking for companies or people that want a NX program to help automate their process

The Offer
Submit your request for an automation solution, We will judge the requests and pick at least one application. Release it free of charge under a Creative Commerce License. Then pick another application until we decide to stop. Here is your chance to get something for nothing.

Overview
If you have a need for a program and want it for free, please send in your ideas using the contact form on this page (select the more button). The entries we recieve, we will pick one that sounds the most interesting to do. The program can be anything, but if it’s a large scale project we may develop a part of it only. It depends on the project. This program will be developed at no charge and we will release it to you and possibly the community. This is a call out to everyone that has ever wanted a program to help solve a problem. There is not a set cut off date yet. The more interest we have in this the more programs we’ll build.

How the automation will be built
The program will be built using either NX/Open (ufunc, UG/open), Knowledge Fusion, Journalling, or out of the box NX tools. That’s our pallete, depending on the program will determine the tool. We will not develop using Grip, Macros, or non OOP (Object Orientated Programming). So that means the if it’s a NX/Open application it will be built in either C++ or C# language. It will also be built using the latest released version of NX.

Conditions
We will release the programs using the Creative Commerce License. We hold the rights to change the license we use on a per-application basis. Basically we will give out the program and usually the source code, but we don’t want people to sell our work as their own with no royalities coming back to us. If you do want to commercialize any program we release, please contact us to get written consent and work out the licensing arrangment.
