NX with Unix Naming

I prefer to name my file names in camelCase. Where the first letter is lowercase and each other word is capatilized without spaces, underscores, or other non letters. NX can force the names to be in lower or upper case. If the setting is set to lower and your path (directories) have any upper case letter in it, will cause NX to not find the path. This setting may make sense is some limited cases, but mostly it is not needed and only there from older versions of NX (Unigraphics).

To set this or check if this is set this is the option your looking for…

If you use Unix and Windows or just want to name your files on Unix regardless of case set or I should say don’t set the following: UGII_OPTION. This setting can be set in either a batch script that launches NX, system environment, or in the ugii_env.dat file.
