Tabular Note Limitations

Convert from Non Master Model -to- Master Model

A part file that has both a solid and a drawing in the same file.
How to convert legacy files to Master Model?
Open a single part file that has a solid and drawing
On the Drafting side, File -> Export -> Part
Specify a new part (this will be the drawing)
select “Drawing Selection” (button)
select the sheets you want to export
Ok the “Export Part” dialog
Select “YES” on the second “Export Part” dialog to preserve drawing associativity
Open up the newly created file
VERIFY the new drawing is there, with the component added. The dimensions should remain associative
-Save As to the Master Model naming convention for the component
File -> Save As -> 12345678r.f01.0000.prt
-File -> Export -> Part
-In the “Export Part” (dialog)
-select “Specify Part” (button)
This file is going to be the drawing file 12345678r.d01.0000.prt
-select “Drawing Selection” (button)
-select “SHT1″ from the “Drawings to Export” dialog
-”OK” the “Drawings to Export” dialog
-”OK” the “Export Part” dialog
Leave all the rest of the options as default
-select “YES” on the “Export Part” message (Do you want to add the current part as a component of the new part?
