Cimdata Cites UGS as CAM Leader Based on Revenue for Fourth Straight Year
Here is a question for anyone that may know it. NX is the name for the CAD application from the company UGS. Does anyone know what this stands for? UG was an abbreviation for Unigraphics, which came from Uni (single) Graphics system.
I prefer to name my file names in camelCase. Where the first letter is lowercase and each other word is capatilized without spaces, underscores, or other non letters. NX can force the names to be in lower or upper case. If the setting is set to lower and your path (directories) have any upper case letter in it, will cause NX to not find the path. This setting may make sense is some limited cases, but mostly it is not needed and only there from older versions of NX (Unigraphics).
